OH!Chart Results – Class act stands tall

A legendary K-pop trio blitzed the field with four nominated songs on debut. Chart regulars were left chasing behind to post respectable results.

How the OH!Chart system works:

The chart is divided into three different categories: Gaon Streaming and Downloads (60%), Hanteo Physical Sales (15%), and OH User Voting (25%). OH users are allowed to vote and have a say in the overall chart ranks of certain songs each week. OH users can vote for more than one nominee but cannot vote for the same nominee more than once. Every week, data from the three categories will be gathered and weighted accordingly. The artists with the 10 highest scores will make it onto the chart. If an artist wins a triple crown, their results will not be recorded in future charts.

EPIK HIGH showed their seniority by notching first and second place on the podium for “Love Story” featuring IU and “Home Is Far Away” featuring Oh Hyuk. The former finished on 14.01 points and the latter recorded 10.84 points. Last week’s winners BTOB dropped to third spot for “Missing You” on 10.65 points.

Rookie boy group JBJ won a tight contest in the physicals category by selling 27,803 copies. Rejuvenated veterans Highlight came second on 22,960 copies. Meanwhile, SHINee’s Taemin continued his strong physicals streak by selling 21,415 copies.

EPIK HIGH achieved an all-kill in the top three spots of the downloads. “Love Story” finished first on 315,276 hits. The trio’s second-nominated track “Home Is Far Away” came runner-up on 244,792 hits while “No, Thank You” featuring Mino, Simon Dominic and The Quiett notched 154,910 hits in third spot. For the streaming category, “Love Story” cruised to victory with 8,445,537 hits. Melomance continued their strong form to place second for “Gift” on 7,736,996 hits. “Home Is Far Away” wrapped up the top three with 6,142,098 hits.

The OH! community lifted SHINee’s Taemin to a win by voting for him 28 times. BTOB once again proved their popularity with 20 votes. Rounding out the top three, JBJ recorded 18 votes.
