Ann Wrapup
Ann is still a relatively new artist. She debuted at the end of 2012 and was nominated for the Best New Artist award for the 24th Golden Melody Awards last year. She released her second album just this past summer so I thought it would be a good time to feature her.
I think she is mostly known for her unique voice. I don’t consider her a great singer but her voice is definitely distinct and different. It’s one that you hear and instantly know that it is her. Her singing can be a bit monotonous though, but the slight electronic-ness of her music really helps add some contrast to it.
If you like what you hear, I recommend checking out her first album called “The Catcher In The Rye” over her second album. She has good songs but some of them are also kinda boring and dull also. The Catcher In The Rye is more consistent in terms of song quality to me. “What’s Next” isn’t a bad album though. I just prefer the first one more.
