Life isn’t always full of rainbows, glimmering pixies, and flying unicorns. A lot of times, you’ll often find yourself faced by life’s curveballs which leave you stuck or frustrated from all the things that are happening around you. Aside from comforting yourself with a feel-good snack or several episodes of your go-to television series, music has always been regarded by many as something that can cheer someone’s heart through its whimsical tune. Here are some tracks you can add as main staples on your playlist if you need comfort.

Just Right – GOT7

In today’s era of posing for the ‘gram and being swarmed by many beauty vloggers as suggested by YouTube’s algorithm, it’s natural to feel a tinge of insecurity. But GOT7 is telling you something more worthy of listing down—learning to love yourself and not letting your insecurities define you as an individual. You’re beautiful, little child! Chin up and don’t let your crown fall off your head. You don’t need to be perfect because you’re already just right.

Breathe – Lee Hi

Life isn’t perfect, and so are you; there are moments you’ll commit mistakes or make bad decisions. A writer has once said failure is a situation, never a person. In times when you feel the weight of the world is on your shoulders, it’s okay to breathe before picking up your battle sword to fight again for another day.

I – Taeyeon feat. Verbal Jint

Have you ever felt losing the passion towards something you once loved? Maybe this track from Taeyeon’s debut mini album can help rekindle that spark to your forgotten dream; it’s never too late to fulfil the vision you have.

Palette – IU feat. G-DRAGON

Unfortunately, entering the adulthood stage doesn’t come with a handy instruction manual that you can take out of your pocket as you maneuver the steering wheel to become life’s most responsible adult. Even if you still like a hot pink shaded lipstick at the age of 30 or fancy watching cartoons with a bowl of colorful cereals, IU and G-DRAGON will tell you growing up might be daunting at times, but you’ll be okay.

Into the New World – Girls’ Generation

No one knows what tomorrow will bring, and the lovely members of Girls’ Generation will tell you to keep a steadfast heart as you embark on a new journey in life. Whether it’s moving into a new neighborhood, school, or job, a lovely flower road of triumph awaits on your way.

Nosedive – Dynamic Duo feat. Chen

Right now, you may be in a gloomy and desolated place surrounded by overlooking walls. It’s okay to feel sad and shed those tears, but it doesn’t mean you’re weak for feeling human. You are doing the best you can, and that will always be enough as you continue with your journey. The good thing about starting all over again is it doesn’t have limits, keep going!
