Japanese rock artist Vicke Blanka has released his new single ‘Snake’ ahead of the release of his upcoming EP ‘Worldfly’ on October 25.

‘Snake’ is a song that takes the inspiration Vicke Blanka felt during his recent performances in Europe and the Middle East, where he was able to experience the local music scene and meet local audiences, and incorporates it into his sound, resulting in a globally minded track that only he could make.
A music video for ‘Snake’ has also been released, which was shot entirely on location in Paris. The video features two contrasting versions of Vicke Blanka, who appear in this beautiful city and intersect with one another perfectly, expressing the meaning behind the lyrics and taking the music to a whole new level.

we made a video that could only have been recorded at that moment.

‘Snake’ will also be included on the upcoming EP ‘Worldfly’, which will include a wide variety of songs that will immerse listeners in new worlds.
The EP includes six songs. The first track ‘Kakumei’ is an urgent rock song with a sense of speed that offers encouragement to those about to set out on a journey, while ‘Snake’ was inspired by Vicke Blanka’s tours in Europe and the Middle East, where he experienced local music cultures firsthand. Meanwhile, ‘Bitter’ is the theme song to the movie ‘Legal Heir’ starring Manami Higa and Shohei Miura.
The limited first pressing of the physical release includes music videos for ‘Kakumei’ and ‘Snake’, as well as documentary footage from Vicke Blanka’s performances in Europe and the Middle East from this spring, and live footage from his performance at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo on July 31, 2023, which was the final date of his Japan tour titled ‘Vicke Blanka LIVE HOUSE TOUR 2023’. This luxury-packed set also includes a special 52-page deluxe photo book and a card sleeve.
Meanwhile, the CD-only physical release includes radio-style segments of conversation between the songs, making it a can’t-miss item for fans. Vicke Blanka has appeared on radio stations throughout Japan, so look out for his unique topics of conversation.
