With the top three from last week staying at the top of the competition, former winners were battling it out for this week’s crown. Meanwhile, other chart regulars were maintained their consistent scores.
How the OH! Chart system works:
The chart is divided into three different categories: Gaon Digital Score (60%), Hanteo Physical Sales (15%), and OH User Voting (25%). OH users are allowed to vote and have a say in the overall chart ranks of certain songs each week. OH users can vote for more than one nominee but cannot vote for the same nominee more than once. Every week, data from the three categories will be gathered and weighted accordingly. The artists with the highest scores will make it onto the chart. If an artist wins a triple crown, their results will not be recorded in future charts.
Despite a tight wrestle towards the finish line with former triple crown winners TWICE, GFRIEND pulled through to claim back-to-back wins for “Time for the Moon Night” on 14.67 points. TWICE finished in second place for the second consecutive week with “What Is Love?” on 13.28 points. Former winners Loco and Mamamoo’s Hwasa remained in third place with “Don’t Give It To Me” on 11.02 points.
Highlight’s Yong Junhyung proved his seniority in taking out the physicals on 17,679 copies. TEEN TOP returned to the competition with a second place finish after they sold 15,269 copies. MONSTA X ensured it was a boys club in the top three by coming third on 10,036 copies.
Unstoppable digital duo Loco and Hwasa picked up their third consecutive wins after recording 47,592,596 hits. Soloist Nilo took out second place once again on 37,282,709 hits for “Pass By”. Fellow soloist Crush rounded out the top three on his return to the competition with “Bittersweet” on 35,755,320 hits.
