OH! Chart 181016 | ‘Goodbye Road’ Continues iKON’s Reign of Success!

Leicester by Leicester
October 16, 2018 - Updated on July 8, 2019
in Korean Entertainment, OH! Chart

iKON are back once again after their previous successes, this time earning a win with ‘Goodbye Road‘!

How the OH! Chart System Works:

The chart is divided into three different categories: Gaon Digital Score (60%), Hanteo Physical Sales (15%), and OH User Voting (25%). OH users are allowed to vote and have a say in the overall chart ranks of certain songs each week. OH users can vote for more than one nominee but cannot vote for the same nominee more than once. Every week, data from the three categories will be gathered and weighted accordingly. The artists with the highest scores will make it onto the chart. If an artist wins a triple crown, their results will not be recorded in future charts.

Results:

Solo artist Lim Chang Jung’s “There Hasn’t Been A Day I Haven’t Loved You” tops the digitals category this week, with a total score of  61,088,497 points. iKON make sure to tail close behind though, with “Goodbye Road” bringing the group a score of 48,344,598 points. “The Hardest Part” earns Roy Kim third place in the digitals category, totaling a score of 42,055,534 points!

iKON dominate the physicals category this time around, with 32,149 copies sold for ‘Goodbye Road‘. JYP Entertainment boy group GOT7 are still going strong, with ‘Lullaby‘ selling 15,889 copies this week. Another boy group taking a top spot in the physicals category, NCT Dream pull together 9,408 copies sold for ‘We Go Up‘.

Leading in the user votes category this week is none other than Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, with her solo song ‘Into You‘ earning her a score of 14 votes. Second place for user votes is tied between two popular boy groups, with iKON and GOT7 both boasting 13 votes respectfully. Finally, NCT Dream isn’t far behind with a total of 12 votes for their release “We Go Up“.

After their huge success with both ‘Love Scenario’ and ‘Killing Me’ earlier this year, iKON are back again and ready to conquer, this time taking the top spot on the podium with ‘Goodbye Road‘! In second place, we have popular soloist Lim Chang Jung with “There Hasn’t Been A Day I Haven’t Loved You“, and third is owned by soloist Roy Kim and his single “The Hardest Part“.

Nevertheless, GOT7 is not just a boy group with challenging dance routines, good looks, and talented members; their title tracks may have not enticed you, but their b-sides proves that they have a solid discography as well.
