OH! Chart 180814 | A Pair of Popular Soloists Take The Prize!

Leicester by Leicester
August 14, 2018 - Updated on July 8, 2019
in Korean Entertainment, OH! Chart
1

Popular soloists ZICO and IU recently came together with the hit collaboration “SoulMate“, earning them the first place spot on this week’s OH! Chart!

How the OH! Chart System Works:

The chart is divided into three different categories: Gaon Digital Score (60%), Hanteo Physical Sales (15%), and OH User Voting (25%). OH users are allowed to vote and have a say in the overall chart ranks of certain songs each week. OH users can vote for more than one nominee but cannot vote for the same nominee more than once. Every week, data from the three categories will be gathered and weighted accordingly. The artists with the highest scores will make it onto the chart. If an artist wins a triple crown, their results will not be recorded in future charts.

Results:

Ruling over the digitals category is ZICO & IU with their collaboration for “SoulMate“, garnering a total score of 68,445,275 points. Following close behind is another soloist, SHAUN, with a score of 61,145,123. MAMAMOO prove to still be going strong, as “Egotistic” continues to perform well with a total score of 42,228,196 points!

When it comes to physicals, Pledis boy group Seventeen holds onto the number one spot, accumulating a score of 34,124 copies sold. VIXX member LEO recently debuted as a solo artist, managing to come second in the physicals category with 21,000 copies! Another Pledis artist, special sub-unit NU’EST W’s “Dejavu” is still proving popular with a total of 14,218 copies sold.

In the user votes category BIGBANG member Seungri received the most love, bringing in a total of 12 votes. We have a three-way tie for 2nd place in this category, with Apink, BLACKPINK, and Chungha earning 8 votes each. Finally, we have another tie for 3rd place, between soloist SHAUN & girl group MAMAMOO, both with 5 votes!

Our winners for this week is the pair of popular soloists, ZICO and IU! After coming together for a smash collaboration it’s no surprise that they snatched the first place spot on the podium. Right behind them is soloist SHAUN, who has seen a rise in popularity recently after the release of his song “Way Back Home“. In third place we have girl group Apink who continue to rank high on the charts with “I’m So Sick“!
