OH! Chart Week #4 Results

Five chart debutants handed seasoned OH! Chart competitors a huge battle in week four. With the smallest final score margins to date, the playing field for podium finishes has never been wider.

How the OH! Chart system works:

The chart is divided into three different categories: Gaon Streaming and Downloads (55%), Hanteo Physical Sales (25%), and OH User Voting (20%). OH users are allowed to vote and have a say in the overall chart ranks of certain songs each week. OH users can vote for more than one nominee but cannot vote for the same nominee more than once. Every week, data from the three categories will be gathered and weighted accordingly. The artists with the 10 highest scores will make it onto the chart.

Results:

K-Pop royalty Sechskies is the first artist to claim back-to-back victories on the OH! Chart. Sechskies and WINNER finished in first and second place on 11.65 and 11.34 points respectively. IU feat. G-Dragon’s “Palette” maintained its position on the podium in third place with 10.51 points. MONSTA X jumped from the lower end of the chart to fourth place, but could have finished as high as second if OH votes went their way.

Sechskies’ physical numbers were outmuscled by younger boy groups, MONSTA X and SF9. MONSTA X led the way with 7,110 copies, ahead of FNC Entertainment’s idol group SF9 (5,119) and Sechskies (4,795). Meanwhile, only 217 copies separated IU and WINNER in fourth and fifth place.

For the downloads, renowned international artist PSY’s “I LUV IT” and “New Face” slayed the rest of the nominees by recording monster figures of 174,197 and 148,389. UNNIES’ smash hit, “Right?” scored 158, 054 in the downloads category. Soloists IU and Suran took the honours with their addictive tracks being the only ones that posted more than 6,000,000 hits.

WINNER continued their dominance among the OH community as they topped the category on 66 votes. UNNIES also gained some love by finishing second in this category with 38 votes. Surprisingly, two-time winner Sechskies only managed 33 votes.

No.1 Spotlight: Sechskies

Previous ranking: 1st

It is proving hard to knock off Sechskies’ “Be Well” from the top three on OH! Chart. This masterpiece has been consistently sweeping music show stages and garnering strong results on our chart. The question is, how long can the group stay up there?

All eyes will be on Sechskies next week, to see whether they can achieve a three-peat. Can TWICE roar their way up to the top of the OH! Chart? Or will PSY’s digital domination flow across all categories? Let us know your thoughts below!
