OH!Chart Results 180218 – Boy group wins first triple crown

A hip-hop group could not be stopped in achieving their first triple crown. With only the podium-getters recorded double figures in the final results, fellow nominees were chasing after respectable scores.

How the OH!Chart system works:

The chart is divided into three different categories: Gaon Digital Score (60%), Hanteo Physical Sales (15%), and OH User Voting (25%). OH users are allowed to vote and have a say in the overall chart ranks of certain songs each week. OH users can vote for more than one nominee but cannot vote for the same nominee more than once. Every week, data from the three categories will be gathered and weighted accordingly. The artists with the highest scores will make it onto the chart. If an artist wins a triple crown, their results will not be recorded in future charts.

Results:

Trending hip-hop group iKON clinched their first triple-crown for “Love Scenario” on 21.32 points. SM Entertainment resident girl group Red Velvet took over second spot from fellow girl group Momoland with “Bad Boy” on 13.39 points. Momoland dropped to third place for “Bad Boy” with 11.17 points.

HIGHLIGHT main vocalist and K-pop veteran Yang Yoseob crushed the competition in the physicals category with 27,909 copies. Boy group JBJ sold a solid number of 14,946 copies to finish second. iKON wrapped up the top three with 13,288 copies.

iKON’s triple crown was consolidated with a first place finish in the digital scores on 55,581,306 hits. Soloist Roy Kim came second for “Only Then” on 45,104,037 hits. Momoland claimed third spot with 44,278,474 hits.

In the OH! category, iKON easily won after notching 42 votes. Red Velvet finished second with 28 votes. Momoland’s consistency continued with a third place finish on 12 votes.
