Recommended for: Those waiting for a DIA comeback. It’s as close as you’re going to get to one, as of right now.
NOT recommended for: Those waiting for a DIA comeback. If you get mad about members of a group having solo projects and not doing group projects, you might want to stay away from this one.
Track Review: Yes I Know
The single “Yes I Know” is an easy to listen to song where Yebin gets to really shine as an individual and show off her saccharine vocals.
Baek Yebin’s voice alone is sugary goodness, but add a fairytale themed music video on top of that, and you’ll fall into a sugar-induced fairytale-like slumber.
The production has everything one would want in a make-believe setting.
The music video doesn’t have an extravagant budget, but in no way does it look cheap. The thought that went into development, and all of the little details that came along with it, has produced a wonderful result.
If you loved her voice in DIA’s “Will You Go Out with Me”, then you will love her voice in this song, too. If you’ve also enjoyed her solo track “Waiting for You” from DIA’s Happy Ending album, then this song is definitely for you.
It’s certainly not a dance anthem. But summer doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to be constantly in motion. The song can be a much needed hug when you just don’t feel like dancing. It’s perfect for daydreaming, reminiscing, and falling asleep with the window open.
