Na Ungjae has made his solo debut with his pre-release track “Drama” from his upcoming mini album.
Recommended for: Those who miss Imfact, and want to hear more of Ungjae’s voice.
Not recommended for: Those who want a dance track. This ain’t it.
Drama:
The song has a soothing guitar playing throughout that’s mixed with some electronic beats.
The lyrics talk about the ending of a relationship and parallel the situation to a television drama coming to an end. The male lead of the song (and drama) is looking for a happy ending, but knows better.
The video takes place mostly outside and its imagery is beautiful. The rain and fog accentuate the meaning of the song nicely.
It’s the type of song that you can listen to when you feel like being by yourself for some time on a rainy day.
Ungjae makes an impactful debut. The song isn’t trying too hard to be mainstream, but rather delivers a nostalgic feel and an honest message.
It’s the prefect release to listen to in the Autumn.
